Unseen Works

A place to park my ideas,
     some created but unshown
     some unexecuted
and some still in the development phase

Embrace the phoenix
as it releases you
as the desert stars crawl
generously to your window,
big as mountains.
Urgent as the saguaro
gripping you,
insistence prickling forth
larger than stars.
Let go as if the choice were yours,
as if mere Desire ignites the pyre.
Promise anything
as the needle pierces your thigh.
The twinkling stars bursting.

NEXT: A handheld-based series of stories beamed to a mobile audience

An experiment in crowdsourced storytelling via "Beaming" (early portable 1-1 distribution technology utilizing Palm Pilot (PDA) devices). Recipients could then read, add, edit, and/or delete parts of the story and beam to the next participant.
